“Who am I” - Casting Crowns
My sister is having her second year confirmation retreat coming up and here I am, writing a letter for her to read during that retreat. I want to submerge myself with all the feelings from the moments and experiences I’ve had during my confirmation and involvement in St. Augustine Church and SAYG that had absorbed me such into my faith because I want this letter to be good. I want it to have meaning. Reminiscing in those times and writing this letter is making me hold back tears.
I pull up this song, from my own second year retreat Watch Me Rise, and all those feelings come rushing back. I want to watch her rise and see her grow and blossom into the wonderful person I know she is.
God is good.
